Whats happened to it? I went to check the racing results and it has all changed. I know results are easy to come by nowadays but i still checking on the tv. I suppose it will grow on me eventually.

beleive it or not it was Billies who supplied the racing part of Ceefaxt to the BBC free of charge for years wound down a couple of months b4 the digital switchover

Indeed, trooper ... When Billies supplied the Service - the Betting Shows were almost instantaneous, and always Up-to-date....
Bit like an early Betfair/Internet Display, in fact ..... and probably FASTER than some sites 'Update' nowadays, too.
Then - somebody 'stuck their oar in' - and said that the BBC were, effectively, allowing Billies to advertise via the platform - and that, of course, is not allowed in the BBC Charter.

You can make your own teletext, copy and past your info into notepad in text form, then switch your computer

Despite all the far superior info online I miss ceefax/teletext. I've watched the screen waiting for a results hundreds of times, was the first page for results on BBC 670? I'm almost certain it was and 660 was the main racing index. I think C4 was page 340 or 360.
