When that Tight Knit was being absolutely smashed off the boards the other day at Southwell, some of us could have been forgiven for thinking we were about to witness a jockey's race, particularly when 'Fanning-from-the-front' was being allowed to set the fractions.
Just goes to show, the AW is straight after all, eh! As for this race, Full Swing might have gone a good bit closer on his debut had he not been held up in his run approaching the straight, just as the winner kicked. Having said that, the step up to 12f is a possible source of improvement for Suffice, and he has the better form (according to RPRs). |
