No doubt Black Rider will be trying its best under champion apprentice Amy Ryan, but her dad Kevin runs 4 and at the moment there appears to be a deal of confidence behind the unraced Repetition, ridden by Tom Eaves (8 from 73 last 5 seasons for Ryan, 11%, -£26.80).
Black Rider was easy enough to back lto, and after racing keenly, finished further behind Sewn Up than he had previously when suffering a poor trip (missed break / challenged wide).
Of course, we need to be wary of any early 'spoofing', and perhaps come race time, the real money will be for Black Rider.
Was thinking the same thing. If Repitition remains solid in the market I would not be surprised to see Black Rider go off very quick and take on Lady Malet for the lead (presuming they will abandon the hold up tactics on this one after the poor run lto). This could set the race up for the unraced Repitition who is bound to be a little outpaced early.

I'd be interested to know which horses took part in the track trials before the track re-opened. Anyone know if Mr Ryan sent a few to work at the track?
