I backed Darlan and was already counting the money, I backed it with Stan James last night as they had the best price and thought it would shorten up as it was a class animal against a couple of horses with questions to answer after their last runs, horrible to see that!

I think you are right about having the race in the bag, its not like the run in is 20 metres after the last!  What price in running before going over, does any one know?

For heavens sake - he wasn't running against a no-hoper -  ROR won the Champion hurdle last year - it wasn't going to go down without a real fight. There is no way McCoy could just pop the last in that situation.

I have to disagree with you Billo.I think the horse could have lost a length at the last and still won comfortably.
