computer wont close down either get programe not responding or as far as saving settings or windows shutting down but it wont switch off.

Hold the power button down then re-start in safe mode

just out of interest.why not restart in normal mode 11KV ?

remove power lead, take out battery....replace & power up

its happened on my laptop a lot recently and I usually restart in normal mode
maybe thats where Im gong wrong !

That is a non safe mode^
