i don't mind being the lone voice ...

passionate about his sport, always seems to put in alot of research, ok tipping not always great but i'd say even the best would struggle to find 7 winners on a 7 race card, most of us know 1 or 2 is fair and we wouldn't bet every race on a serious level

people who are pundits always divide opinion, personally there are plenty i switch off or mute but he's ok for me

if you were advising punters would you tip EVERY race , or would you be selective and avoid the crap , or at least find a smaller angle in place market or something , you know ....help people

i don't follow tipsters, never have never would

i make my living off my own judgement, tv pundits on the whole are just amusement between races

a couple i think are clever guys, know their stuff like melish and neesom (alot will disagree on him but he's a very shrewd judge imo)

most of the rest just wash over me apart from one who i cannot abide and as soon as the words "todays guest andy" are heard it's muted

Not long for me,very cold here so dont be booking holidays expecting warmth.

Maybe GC and CB will persuade their paymasters to do a "Euro" tour of horse racing from the shores of West Ireland to the "Middle" East of thoroughbred racing at eg Nicosia?

Over to you Graham Cunningham, tell us about horses racing...............or you Claire Balding?

Eat if defeat?

Or JCB murder?

To be fair to GC his betfair preview was better than his tv preview of the races.

Elise, if Graham Cunningham puts in so much research how can he still come out with arrant twaddle as he did yesterday regarding Sanctuaire. Anybody with half a racing brain knew that that was a race to sit and watch and savour. His contribution to the discussion on the Morning Line was simply a waste of time.
If Sanctuaire meets Sprinter Sacre on those terms on ten occasions, it must surely be patently obvious that all things point to Sprinter Sacre winning at least nine of the ten. If GC is waiting for the one in ten occasion then he will wait a long time and make anybody heeding his advice very poor and disillusioned.

Yifter's Festival Trials Day recommendations

Back Katenko in the 13.15 and lay off at 3.0 in running
Back Sanctuaire in the 13.35 and lay off at 5.0 in running
Back Grands Crus in the 14.25 and lay off at 1.6 in running
Back Cape Tribulation in the 14.25 and lay off at 4.0 in running
Back The New One in the 15.00 and lay off at 1.5 in running
