Not sure it was a great ride. Pushing horses is what the riders do. |

By trying to be too clever he has had to punish the horse un-necessarily on run-in. If I was owner/trainer
I would be livid. |

In those situations it comes down to if you have a willing horse or not.
Grand Crus would have been delivered in a similar way, but almost certainly not got by IC on the run in. |

Backed the winner and it would be unfair not to praise a winning ride, but he nearly killed the horse at the second last by not giving it enough daylight early enough to see the jump.
