jsut makes me laugh that people find excuses for everything....if a "25" pounds claimer would have ridden that ride, he'd be out of the job.....chased with a shovel....

unlucky....could happen to anyone

Given the position turning in, I didnt see a lot he could have done about that?
Thought every card he was dealt up the straight was a Joker? |

...my granny knew "if you ride a race tucked away on the inside" I can't ewin it on the outside...anyway...i don't care as i never had a Meydan bet in my life but heard Chapman firing on all cylinders and watched the replay.....as i have said; this ride ridden by an apprentice and that apprentice would ride (if he has a nice boss) in July again the earleist....

What should he have done, given his position going into the bend?
|
|
By:
He shouldn't have assumed that dane o'neill was going to let him out and switched out (he had time imo) rather than simply running into the back of the horse on the rail.

It is a rule of racing that if you get a run going up the inside it is a brilliant ride and if you get blocked then you are the lowest form of plankton.
