Can anyone explain that on every horse race (uk) every day on here there are massive lay requests inputted pre race on every horse all equalling a liabilty of £1600 ish. This has happened everyday for well over a year since I first spotted it and to be honest its puzzling the life out of me. Oviously the requests are well under its current price and seem to move when the prices move changing the ammounts.
The requests go in as soon as the market is opened on here and never misses a day
Any one got any thoughts or ideas.

waiting for fat fingers
or
trying to manipulate traders that go by weight of money
Report Sliced!!! January 20, 2013 8:50 PM GMT

each request is to a liabilty  of the same ammount, as price moves stake is adjusted, there are no bets in the win market for the same ammount. Its there every race every day and has been for well over a year on every horse. And as soon as the market is available.
Report harold_lloyd January 20, 2013 9:04 PM GMT
sliced , like knuckles said , the lay bet moves with the back price, if it was for fat fingers , all the lay bets would be for a set ammount i would think .

whats your guess  ?
Report desperatemunter January 20, 2013 9:06 PM GMT
is it not the market making?  if its there when the markets open, every time, then its not a normal punter - its BF doing whatever they do to 'make' the market....maybe?

Report desperatemunter January 20, 2013 11:28 PM GMT
it doesn't bother him - it puzzles him.

Maybe someone from the day shift can shed some light.
Report Ell January 21, 2013 12:37 PM GMT
For example they're trying to lay the field in the first race for £1560 liability.

1.56 1.72 1.98 2.4 2.7 3.4 4.7 4.7 4.7

They're either keep bets for in running or SPIVS .
Report knuckles January 21, 2013 1:15 PM GMT
also think its the same at higher odds for £1200.00, so liabilities of £1560 and £1200 approx per race every race every day
Report knuckles January 21, 2013 1:17 PM GMT
could it be the scandies who previously used to do the 1.01's or 1.03's from many years ago
Report lmfao January 21, 2013 1:19 PM GMT
i object to being called a spiv
