made famous in the sixties when the beatles , rolling stones , sandie shore etc stayed there.
good sized rooms , a nice bar and a cellar bar decorated to commemorate the beatles.
very central to doncaster , about one mile to the racecourse , twenty yards to a bus stop , car parking very cramped
sorry can't comment on price / value or quality of meals but has a good local reputation

never stayed at the regent but have been there to see some live bands,a friend of mine has stayed there on quite a few occasions and says its fine.

We had a wonderful couple of nights here. Very good service all round, we enjoyed the V.I.P Suite which had wonderful views! A special surprise was the new decor throughout the hotel, including a beautiful new restaurant next to the hotel!!

Overall Poor to fair
I went to this hotel just a couple of days ago, my girlfriend and I had the worst meal we have ever had. Sorry but it's the truth, our meals were only a few pound for 2, and to be honest thats all they were worth. Don't like to give local businesses bad press but this place really is dire.

was / is owned by a local family called longworth but the robinsons could be friends.
