Taquin du seuil @5/2 (how many punters got on with ****) was his first winner since the 3rd of November, and tipping Teaforthree to win a 17 runner handicap in soft ground round Chepstow smells of desperation, what next a 1/2 shot that should be 1/5 because it's value, we all know the level stakes profits will be rolled out as soon as he gets a few winners, but will the racing post and all racing channels please stop telling us he is the scourge of bookmakers, they must be laughing there way to Barbados for there winter break.
Bookmakers just use him as a tool to promote their odds. They know the people who blindly follow will just end up giving it back. Those who take betting seriously wouldn't tolerate 30-40 successive losers. Having said that I wouldn't criticise him for putting up Teaforthree - it was a no bet race for me but he had to tip something - obviously this sometimes works in his favour but you would never here him or the Post admitting it.
