Car park shooting in Seaton Burn 'not random'
Police are searching for two men who shot a man in the back on Tyneside.
The 54-year-old man was getting out of his car at about 16:10 GMT when he was shot in the car park of the Six Mile Bridge Inn in Seaton Burn.
Police said although his injuries were not life threatening, inquiries suggested it was not a random incident.
The two men drove off in a white van towards the A19. Police have increased patrols in the area and appealed for anyone with information to call 101.

As I said on another thread the car park of the pub is as close to the exchange shop as the pub but the police don't say so.
Wonder if they needed to get a metal detector to fish the bullet out. 
Two men have been arrested, police couldn't release their names, known to have numerous aliases.

The description "pub car park " shooting is extremely uninformative bordering on a lie if what Mr. Kane says is correct.
i read it as they were parked in the pub car park next door to the exchange shop
I read it ( If Mr. Kane is correct ) as the police are not saying that the victim was a high roller customer of an ( unadvertised as regards no signs outside ) betting exchange that most people in the village know nothing about.

He owns both in the same building. The pub down the road at Benton where there was a shooting a couple of weeks ago has a Thai restaurant. So if you want pub/ restaurant and shootings the north-east is the place just now.
