Depends if you are going for the racing or the beer. For £5 extra you get a much better view, glass instead of plastic and are much nearer the win line. And nearer the parade ring. There little difference in the facilities.

If you're dressing up ie suits, you have to go Premier, if not save the fiver and stick it on a winner!
I'd recommend the Lion Pub and Lucky's Indian restaurant for a Newbury night out- you'll love it |

The Fullers bar beside the Fish n' Chip shop is a bit pricey (£4.50 a pint and probably going up this year).Real ale in Members cost £3.80.If it's wet you need to be in Members to get out of the rain. For the best viewing go up to the balcony on the second floor.

jambo the reason its so good up there is because so few know about it.

THEN WE GO OUT NEWBURY FOR NIGHT
Some of my best nights out in newbury have been spent outside Newbury. Plenty of curry houses and mediocre pubs - The old wagon in market square is sort of an irish pub(run by irish, has setanata and not a chain oirish pub) if that is what you're after - it has a Thai restaurant round the back as well. |
