Remember many years ago being at York with W Haggas (in a syndicate with a horse he trained). We had just watched a sprinter hack up for its fourth win on the bounce for its new trainer. I turned to WH and said it must be embarrassing for the previous trainer when this happens. Silence all round. Guess who was the previous trainer?
