I wonder if he's as good a stockman as he was a trainer?

Im just happy for the owner, Put a lot of money in to the game now getting the rewards now the horses are with "proper trainers"

Yes, delighted for Wylie.

Two big wins today for him with Nicholls and Mullins. Cream of the crop.
Report Ibrahima Sonko December 28, 2012 3:17 PM GMT
Hopefully Wylie will get back his old enthusiasm back and send more horses to the trainers he now uses.
Report aberdonia December 28, 2012 3:19 PM GMT
Wylie must be aghast that he ever sent horses to Johnson.

At least he is now getting a proper return with decent trainers.

Agree with all comments.

The owner deserves success after all he's put into the game and comes across as open, honest and loyal.

it was the ground, if the ground would have been good then he wouldnt have won. im sure of that.

really pleased for whylie, i backed Tidal Bay in last years Gold Cup as ive always thought he is the most talented horse when he behaves.

If the gold Cup turns up to be a bog on the day, then i think tidal should be fav.

I so cursing myself for being too bullish last year about tidal, got my timing completley wrong like a knob!

Is everyone forgetting about all the Cheltenham winners.  HJ was a good trainer, loads of horses get a revival with a trainer switch, and this is one of them.

If Tidal Bay was still with Johnson, it would be running at Catterick today.

When it arrived at Ditcheat it had a physical problem - which Nicholls' team sorted.

Was H-J aware?

He wouldn't have known about that as his vet won't have told him.

i don't know how he does it ? maybe he's nerveless?

I would'nt have graham whylie down as a gentleman after what he said at the racing awards a few years back when making a speech, very rude!
