Hobbs horse must have went wrong. Wishful usually stays on strongly in his races
|
|
By:
WT went from running on strongly to tailing off in strides.

By:
surprised winner didnt match at bigger for more to be honest.id backed wish thinking lumpy in the morning , turned most of it over and kept a little bit on it, never considered laying it in running as it always looked more of a backing price.

Seriously do people not know that WT has horrible problems with his breathing ?
Hobbs even eluded to it b4 it won a weak race at Chelts This horse might win egg and spoon races now coz he dont have to go thru the pain barrier but it will NEVER again win a top race coz it chokes |

in all honesty i doubt hes ever managed to win a race when hes had a problem with his breathing and i dont think for one moment when he won that poor race at cheltenham hed have "got away with it"i dont really think hes ever won top races but the way the race went today he was proably unmder less stress turning for home than in any racxe hes ever won prior.yes we all know hes not th hardiest horses healthwise but i doubt if you thought turning for home when he traded at 1.18 "ill lay him now as his breathing will go to pot in a moment"im surprised he wasnt pulled up after it was clear something was amiss(maybe he was).
