Is he a drinker? Always looks a very nervous type to me, one that lives on cigaretttes and alcohol but not much else, though no idea if this is the case.

Had one good horse in Hearts of Fire, ok its group one win was in Italy but the runner up that day went on to win the Breeders Cup juvenile so the form was solid. Hearts of Fire was extremely unlucky in the St James Palace behind Canford Cliffs, constantly denied a clear run, imo would've went very close to beating Canford with a clear run that day, never reached those dizzy heights after, the odd decent run.
Give most trainers a good horse and they'll do the business. |
