Any one else truly addicted to horse racing, that finds them selfs with very few people around them with a serious interest in the sport? Maybe it is time to move HQ?

FR---the whole idea of this forum was that people who like/love/are addicted to horse racing, could chat to people of a like mind about intesting things from the past and present.
And in fairness many do, and there are some intelligent and very knowledgable forumites-----sadly at the other end of the intellectual spectrum, there are folks on here whose only interest is of a "destructive" nature, and they can really deter serious discussions, with personal attacks, and abusive language. Just as bad are the "snipers", who just hang around looking to make "sarky" comments. Anyway, try originating an interesting thread, and I'm sure you will get some interaction with the decent guys on here--GL |

One has to differentiate between being addicted to horse racing and being addicted to BETTING on horse racing.
This is primarily a gambling site, and that is why some of the forumites are as you describe. I hope this is of assistance. |

I just considered your poat somewhat foolish.....maybe your unaware .some on here are housebound & use it as the days entertainment.......not me fortunatally....ive just backed the last 3 winnere 2 in a double...........thats why I stay on here
