Horse Racing......Non Gambling

It wouldn't be the same without the betting.

I'd enjoy graded races and the festivals just as much on tv without being on here. I've been on course and not had a bet a few times and had a blinding day.

I just sit and watch
Dont believe in giving my hard earned jobseekers allowance or should I say my childs inheritance to you lot

Yesterday at Wolver would have been a tortuously long day betting, imagine that 300 race hell without a bet.

The first Sunday meeting at Doncaster was non betting, a total bore.

without betting horse racing would simply die ...simple ....were would the prize money come from....

The only reason I watch the likes of Southwell, Brighton or Ffos Las is because I've had a bet.

What competitions can I enter on race nights?


A prediction ‘Pick 6’ competition is held every racenight. Competition details are available in the evenin’s race programme. Entry for the competition is free of charge and the winners will be announced on the night itself in the Parade Ring following the last race. All winners must claim their prize on the racenight from the Pick 6 Reward Centre located on Level 1, Concourse B.The ‘Triple Tri’ competition is free to enter and is applicable for the final three races of the evening’s race programme. Al Basti Lucky Draw - All racegoers will receive a complimentary lucky draw ticket at the entrance Gates, which entitles them to a chance of winning cash prizes.


i love watching all sports, dont have to have a bet to enjoy it.  In fact i nearly have a heart attack if i have a large bet on snooker or tennis, where every point or shot can be like life or death.

There is something to be said, for not watching, and checking the result later when you have had a bet.  It will probably add a few years onto your life. 

There is no way 99.999999% of horse racing fans would have followed the sport day in day out due to going racing at a race track with no betting, and joining in on a 6 race raffle.

I would follow racing still, but not with the same focus. A question you ask, that  I  question. " Would any one have answered you had you not asked the question"

Will watch NH day in day out when I can, dont have to have a bet but still enjoy it....rarely, if ever watch the AW....nothing interesting about it!

yeah  need the gambling aspect with real money .......... for example have you tried playing cards for matchsticks !

I can go to a track with say a 7 race card and only bet in 2 or 3 races and will enjoy the rest of the meeting as well. I wouldn't go if I wasn't playing at all though.
