Is it worth paying a bit extra for the county stand does anybody know?is viewing in or outside etc?

i would say its not worth the extra.

the stands in tatts give at least as good a view of the racing ,also you are closer to the pre parade ring,there is an old stand next to the silver i think its called the clock tower adge will confirm its name when he comes on,thats the best view for national hunt racing.

Yes I wouldn't bother with members. Grandtand and Clock Stand, which is the old county stand both perfect for viewing and closer to the paddock, pre parade ring etc.
Members usually full of women on the ale and suited 10 bob millionares.

it's all been said really but another point against members is that it's on or past the winning post so not that great for viewing NH racing
however , be warned , we had a sharp frost last night which didn't clear completely and more of the same forecast tonight and tomorrow. fingers crossed
