Not the days of old, yard seem all over the place. Odds on shots beat by stable 2nd string, Choc Thornton looks half the jockey he was and looked fat the other day with a double chin on RUK.
So many good horses keep getting injured, stable on the decline imo. Just over 100 horses now seems owners feel the same. Just can't trust what yards runners will do, don't think King has any idea either.
Slipping down the ladder each season, going backwards likes of Tim Vaughan have more horses in training than him. It seems they have no idea what will run any more. Hutchinson riding far better than Choc also

Tipping, Hutchinson has been riding better that Choc for 2 seasons now. Wouldn't be surprised if owners are avoiding King's because of his No.1 jockey.

Agree not the days of old, a lack of consistency is a big issue. Imo, now little resemblance to 'the Duke's' outfit. For me the stable's riding tactics lack any creativity or risk - horses are nearly always ridden in mid-div, hugging the rails. Safe stuff.
