Spot on DOH, I knew someone who had there own business, married to a beautiful woman and had two children. He lost it all, went to gamblers anonymous meetings twice and then stopped. He continued to gamble to smaller stakes. I haven't seen him for years, but, he must have turned it round himself as I'm told he now has his own business and married again and more kids.

I remeber ringing him at his office on the day Wayward Lad was favourite for the Gold Cup, his colleague answered the phone and said he's watching the race, he's had £500 on Wayward Lad. It lost, his colleague passed the phone to him and you'd think he'd just lost a tenner.

Highly recommend an organisation called Breakeven - who don't treat you like you've got some sort of disease.

maybe a bribe to get the stubborn bastrd to go may do the trick , ?
