Thanks for the info, never used this site before

bestbetting used to be excellent but now a lot of the odds are either slow to update or are completely wrong particularly P power

easyodds has a great horse alert section where you put in horses you want to watch out for and they email you when one of your horses is running.
that way you never miss one you're looking out for. |
By:
Outpost - do they have a limit on the number of horses you can enter? Only reason i ask is ATR has a limit of 100 and i'm always on the limit.
By:
how do you get to the odds comparison on Easyodds from the horse racing page?
Thanks |
By:
nige - no
By:
Cheers Delta - I will investigate, is it as reliable as ATR's tracker? And when do they send you the email reminders, night before?
By:
v good
email usually in the middle of the night - altho the w/e one comes Friday PM |

I assume easyodds uses the same feed as bestbetting because p powers odds are the same but wrong. Example in 4.15 Kempton Easydoesit is still showing at 13 on both easyodds and bestbetting when it cahnged to 10 about ten minutes. Oddschecker has got the odds right

Ok i will enter all my horses!!! Take a while but if there is no limit then it's better for me. Thanks for the info Outpost and Delta!!

Wolverhampton 4.55 best odds on Decision By One is still showing as 8 at P Power with both bestbetting and easyodds but there has been two price changes since. It went to 7 and is now 5.50

Are there any other sites other than Oddschecker that are accurate?
By:
thanks, very helpful

bookmakers change their odds regularly so these sites can only give you a rough guide to current prices.
you will quite often find when you go onto the bookies site to place your bet that the price is already shorter than either easyodds or oddschecker is showing. |
By:
outpost I know that but they are usually not ten minutes behind with changes!
By:
I use bookies.com.

ValueChecker is a useful alternative to Oddschecker, especially at times like these. Give it a try.
In repsonse to the horse alert conversations, I use GG Alerts rather than Easyodds alerts as the GG ones arrive in my inbox at 5pm the day before, same time as most of the next day's action is being priced up. The timing of the emails gives it a hige edge over Easyodds imo. |

have you tried getting a decent bet on the evening before a race either with a bookie or on here. buttons available.
By:
If you spread your money around you can get a decent amount on (not on here, the liquidity isn't there the night before) and the amount of times I back something at 12s the evening before only for it to be 6s the morning of the race with everyone makes getting bets on the evening before a must when possible.

About 5+ years ago Bestbetting used to be really accurate but then for some reason it became so slow to update prices as to be useless. Why would they allow this to happen? I would guess that arbs were being highlighted and we all know how the bookies hate an Arber..

I have now entered all my horses into Easy Odds horse alerts. It is far better as you can see on the screen when you log in your horse's entries for the next couple of days without having to wait for the email.
Really glad i checked this one out |

Other sites no good to me as you can't see price history, only in graph form.
By:
Easyodds also run a free monthly racing tipping competition called Top Tipster, first prize is a free £300 bet with ****. Well worth checking out

Have never won before but been placed a few times, goes down to five places.
Btw just been on easyodds and saw they're running a free £5 X Factor bet, no deposit required. Not sure if any of you lot are into reality TV but might as well do it if it's a no strings attached free bet! |
