I've asked before on here about these push n fit fittings and plastic piping that the plumber's using in my daughter's new house and the general consensus was they were fine. I noticed though he's got one fitted to the main riser where it comes into the house which is followed by a couple of feet of plastic pipe, a plastic elbow and then the stopcock which shuts off the main riser.

Shouldn't it be all copper until after the stopcock?

Yes, I'm a plumber - how can I help?

Actaully fne, in new build it's now quite common to find all plastic fittings**, so it's nothing to worry about

I seen a few that weren't so reassuring bannahan but a lot of them were old posts. My main concern was the fact there were 3 joins and a couple of feet of plastic pipe before the stopcock.

I think it's sitting on the couch with it on a table in front of me that's caused the problem Billy. I've thought about asking for a steroid injection for the back. Had one in my shoulder once and it did help. Can't you watch live video so Mrs L can see her soaps?
