Been betting on Curley horses for 25 years.Much harder nowadays since Betfair arrived!.He has 6-10 runners per year on a Sunday.Cant ever remember a winner on a Sunday.

Certainly do Declan Murphy gave it a lovely ride to land the gamble.Those were the days.Also Magic Combination was a great moneyspinner for me.

First runner as a trainer was an irish bumper 25/1 to 1/1 won by 20 lenghts cant remember its name though.

I remember them having it right off at Doncaster about November the same year of the Yellow Sam race. Liam Brennan training a horse and a chap called Ben Hannon riding it called Tommy Joe it had a British rating of about 2 stone lower then his Irish race..won with it's head in it's chest carrying Mrs Curleys colours

I was at Windsor the day Assultan won. Can't remember if it was a Sat but i'm guessing it was.

I took 8/1 for £20 and went to watch them go to post. Went back to the bookies 5mins later to check it's price and it was 3/1!!!

Won pulling an absolute cart, sadly refused more times than it raced after that.
