So long as I get a picture feed from when the last few enter the stalls until the result is announced, the rest is disposable for me. Quite often have another sport channel (cricket etc) on my TV and the Betfair market on my lap top so once it says going into the stalls, I switch back to Sky or RUK. It would not bother me if there were no presenters other than the racecourse commentator.

and having people on course who have a clue is worthwhile. its never a bad thing and can provide handy info, ie m dixon said a nag i had backed at 12 and was now 8 was a right mess in the paddock, so i bailed. it was tailed. saved me a right few quid. in fact, i greened up on a big loser

ATR just put in a few races around the adverts.  Sky are pure greed, subs aren't enough for them as they continually stuff adverts in at every opportunity.  It wouldn't surprise me if they showed ads in-running, but it wouldn't matter as they're already 10 seconds behind live pictures anyway. 

Racing TV do a far better job but are let down by the number of races they are having to cover.  Perfect scenario would be to move Racing TV online, to cover all race meetings, with real time pics, avoiding the need for sky subs.  In addition, if half the races were cut from the calendar that would be ideal.  I can honestly see that happening as betting turnover diminishes over the next decade, due a combination of greedy bookmakers/exchanges and affordability checks.

sky sports racing have destroyed attheraces, i no longer watch the crap, although i did try to watch the ark meeting last week, i turned off before the first race, the live feed on here is far better, racing uk is better but there presenters seem to think its ok to show a few horses in the paddock then piss off, whats that about, for £25 a month i expect to see every horse in the paddock and not just there backsides.
