Been on a day off (yep that’s right a day off from Joe’s!) just had a few pints with a couple of pals and discussing the upcoming last meeting at York, then we got reminiscing about the old days, as you do when you’ve had a few.

Does anyone know what happened to the following John Lights (punter) John Pegley (bookmaker) Brian West (bookmaker)

Saw Mr Pegley 7 years ago in a bookies in my home town.  His good lady was sightseeing! He looked fine.
When he bet on the rails, John had the most stentorian voice, to put Stephen Little's squeals to shame. Loved to have an opinion in running (esp NH) to lay with the most booming voice.
A top man.  Hope all is well.
