.. 85 days and the "temporary" slow down continues
SiS + Still faster (1/2 second faster)
Good to see the dog racing taking preference to Horse Racing on the split screen today
SiS and ATR are rancid bookie fodder

Would have to disagree with that racingstar. If subscribers kept on constantly complaining and threatened court action with contracts as has been said above then maybe the 'temporary problem' would get fixed.
Sadly as has also already been said most will probably just moan on here and do fk all about it.

Starfish, SIS do not give a jot about complaints other than from their Core Business (Bookmakers). Let Biscar take action against them if he wants to (absolute cast 1.01 loser). Alternatively,he can continue to come on here and bleat in the misguided belief that he is the only one who has talked to SIS.

racingstar SIS have altered the service and have admiited so,for that reason it's certainly not 1.01.
They don't care becuse no-one has done anything yet, however if half a million quid in contracts stop paying then they might find an alternative.
btw your spelling seems to have improved have you found spellchecker over the weekend,oh and you are the one bleating

If it was just betfair live video speeding up then your point is valid.however as you well know sis have changed the speed of the pictures by moving premises therefore have altered the level of service provided.
If you signed up to bt broadband and they later changed your download speeds do you genuinely believe there is f all you could do about it.
You have convinced yourself that anyone with sis is Donald ducked is this because you play from live video and are ejaculating at the thought that you might be ahead of someone with sis ?
This won't go to court because the legal team at sis will be aware they have moved the goalposts.

Do not keep telling me your half baked ideas of what constitutes a breach of contract,Biscar. If you think that you have a case,go for it or give it a rest as you are becoming a bore. Afeter all, your case is with SIS not the BF Forum.

Ofcom, the organisation that regulates the telecoms industry, has issued General Conditions that all service providers must follow. It says if a service provider changes your conditions in a way that is likely to be of material detriment to you, they must: Give you one months notice of the change or allow you to cancel at no extra fee. The principal here is the same

Biscar, Please show me anywhere in the SIS Contract that mentions any guarantee of picture speed transmission (there is none). Broadband speeds are entirely another matter.

SIS is a disgrace imho.....they have slowed their product down and they also own the media rights to the track pictures ie the racecourses the atr tracks pay them a sum for their pics being shown...laughable in the extreme...

the problem with the racing industry is REGULATION or the lack of it and CONTROVERSIAL TOPICS ARE BRUSHED UNDER THE CARPET
COURSE AND TV PICTURES INCONSISENT RE SPEED OF TRANSMISSION IN RUNNING BETTING SO UNTRANSPARENT BETTING EXCHANGES AND BOOKMAKERS - CLOSE OR RESTRICT SUCCESSFUL PUNTERS WELCOME THE REST WITH OPEN ARMS THE POLICING OF THE SPORT RE NON TRIERS AND FRAUD IS LAUGHABLE EVEN DOWN TO COMMENTATING PRESENTING PUNDITRY ETC
AND THE RACING PRESS WON'T COVER SUCH ISSUES EITHER FOR FEAR OF UPSETTING THE GRAVY TRAIN
ITS A MESS

Both points of biscar and racing star are valid, unless somebody has actually taken them to court then everything else is guess work, because as pointed out, that is the point of the courts. In many ways things like this vary between customers, some would be able to get something out of court by knowing how to address companies (although if SIS are as stubborn as they are seemingly incompetent then perhaps not)
Would be interesting if anyone actually had any experience of what occurred between themselves and Sis under these circumstances.

Just another example of two fingers to subscribers. On Bank Holidays with double figure meetings you come to expect that some coverage will be via SIS+ but not today.

It wouldnt entirely surprise me if he slipped away into the night after sis quickened back up, hes good at being vocal when he loses an advantage but its different when he's at the front of the que, he goes rather quiet then.

SiS + Still faster (1/2 second faster)... BUT they aren't showing much on there these days !! They seem to be concentrating on dogs having a sh 1te on the way to the traps for the SiS + viewers or cartoon racing

Thank you for your email.
We have improved the latency somewhat but SIS+ does remain slightly faster at present.
We have asked Cisco, who manage our broadcasts, for advice on how we can bring picture speeds from MediaCity, Salford up to the same speed as those coming out of Milton Keynes (which SIS+ does) and await their response. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be a simple fix.
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me if we can be of any further assistance.
So its bull that no-one has complained in 3 weeks.

Must be some place that Media City - the cutting edge centre not as quick as Milton Keynes While it may not be a "simple fix" nearly 6 months is laughable
