The 5/6 last night was a good price.
There are two things potentially against her: the good-to-firm ground (I suspect she is better on simply good ground) and her relatively incosistent profile. The former is answered by the fact that Henry would pull her out if it was too firm; the latter is a worry, but her two latest runs were solid at Group 1 level and her earlier below-par runs were perhaps just a case of needing a run or two to get fit. All in all, a solid 4/6 chance, but I wouldn't back at any shorter. |

Yep plenty of reasons for why betting is a waste of time. Jockeys they are **** these days. I do not bet much these days. Last three bets have been Strong Suit when Ryan Moore misjudged pace. (Ignore SS latest run as ran him too soon afte running it at wrong distance in asprint). Then Camelot, O'Brien overconfident but then todays the biggest **** of the lot - Tom Queally, **** knows why he should be allowed to ride Frankel. Bloke has no brains going for a gap on Timepiece - god knows how many times, obvious for all to see the gap wasnt there and he nearly got the horse brought down. Absolute idiot.
And yes fixing in a listed race too re the winnner means you cant even bet at listed level with any confidence. You expect it a lower level of races, ie stable staff laying horses they have made sure wont run well. Of course this is the problem with betfair you can just lay the one horse and not worry about having to bet on every other horse in the race. Betafit has increased corruption in racing. |

Presumably people were wanting Queally to hurdle the one if the lead in order to get to the front as there wasn't any other way he could legally have done so to get there.
Of the 3 rides you mention Horse Sense only Ryan Moore's was a bad one but then again the whole field bar the winner were given bad rides that day. Yes Queally went for gaps up the inside but they were soon closed on him when the leader moved off the rail and then back on again but what else were people wanting Queally to do to get a run? Oh and it's no good saying move off the rail because that wasn't an option or exactly how and where should he have done that when apart from the one directly in front that was stopping him going up the inner, the rest of the field were to Queally's outer and holding him in on the rail. All of this race fixing nonsense that people are coming out with in these situation, just ask yourself who is benefiting form that and what the benefits are and more often than not it's totally ridiculous with the people supposedly involved.....anyone claiming this race was a fix from Queally's point of view needs to find a new hobby reading fantasy comics, about UFOs or conspiracy theories because this game is clearly not for you. |

Tylicki surprised at Semayyel's starting price at Yarmouth Jockey Freddie Tylicki said: "I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with that performance and I don't know why she was such a big price. She obviously proved she's well able to beat some decent fillies here today." (5 hours ago) unfortunately |

ima, horses dont just find themselves in bad positions, they are PUT in bad positions.
queally should have seen that coming and should have nudged the horse to get more prominent earlier. timepiece backers got done by bad jockeyship. timepiece would have won the race if he'd been given a clear run. |
|
By:
Yes pulio, the are put there by the draw, the rules or race riding and there fact the rest of the field are to their outer and came over towards the rail..........it's all there on the video.
How much more prominent than in the first 2 can you be? |
