Hello Elisjohn. Just got in from golf and watched the replay. Hughes was punching out until the winner hung straight across him and forced him to check back close home.

Doubt it. I'm just an industry apologist.

where do you stand on the value threads yifter currently rearing their heads again on here,
do you agree with the value boys and think its still there or are you beginning to follow nevo,s opinion, that the savy boys are  everywhere now, and the markets that sensitive and clued in, that any edges disappear before most access the markets,
be interested to hear from those in the industrys pocket, Wink

Can't speak for anyone else, whether they are in or out of an industry pocket, but a combination of working less efficiently and the squeezing of markets everywhere means my edges are nothing like so sharp as they used to be. Maybe it's time to join the fast picture fraternity?

elsjohn -

Head-On clearly showed the WINNER drifted markedly to it's right - when the jockey changed whip hands - and cameacross Hughes' mount, effectively 'sandwiching' him between the Winner and the Second.

From the side on - it looked as if maybe the Second had come away from the rails, too - but it was the Winner who clearly crossed into Hughes' path.
