WIN & PLACE - VELOSO - 8.6 & 2.62 How Veloso is not a heavy odds on favourite for this race is completely beyond me. Returned to form over CD last time after a period of dropping down the handicap. Remains very well handicapped and loves this surface. One of the most consistent AW horses in training. Has won a class 3 handicap from a mark of 81 over this CD in the past. Now he has hit form he should put together at least 4 wins in a row. Absolute certainty to win this race. I have assessed all the otehr horses in teh race and there is only one danger - Shifting Gold. You may do a saver on shifting gold if you wish but Veloso will almost certainly win this very easily. |

I cant comment on the 1st race as I as busy roasting a chicken.
6 50 Southwell WIN & PLACE - LUCKY MARK - 34.0 & 8.6 WIN & PLACE - FIONAS SPIRIT - 55.0 & 15.0 Only 2 possible winners of this 5f sprint. Lucky Mark is born to love the fibresand and should be hard to beat under Robert Winston from this lowly handicap mark on his fibresand debut. Outrageous price and should win on the bridle here. One possible danger and its Fionas Spirit, she aso was born to run on fibresand and is very well drawn. A good break and she has a genuine chance of beating the apparently unbeatable Lucky Mark here. Its almost certain that one of these will win. |
