It's difficult. I spent over 3 years on here getting called most things but it never occurred to me to report anybody. Then a few people arrived who persistently called we regulars on a certain thread a gang of paedophiles. After a month of that I DID start reporting them as did others. I have now decided I will draw the line at being called a paedo,a murderer or a rapist unless it is clearly a one-off drink-inspired rant. Anything else I will put up with and deal with myself.

That is COMPLETELY unacceptable salmon - the moderators should be bringing these people down before you have to think about it. I was once banned for 6 years for once suggesting that a jockey did'nt try hard enough in the final furlong of a race. That seems proportional.

Just ignore the person in question.
When they post on your threads, dont reply or comment at all. They will soon lose interest and stop bothering you. I have had a few in my time on here who have stepped over the mark, i just let them know that i will not be responding anymore and that is what i did. If this poster has multiple user names then you will soon find out (take it from me!) It really annoys me that Betfair allow multiple user names. It would remove a hell of a lot of rubbish on here by preventing this. |
