I backed it, never got a gap when needed and coasted home when chance was gone. No point knocking it about for 4th at best. Def one for the notebook but unlucky rather than inept imo.

Sad to see Frankie just working his ticket. Sooner Godolphin give him his pay-off, the sooner Barzalona can take over, and Frankie can pick up a decent job elsewhere. He's far from finished still a great jockey.

The Stewards held an enquiry into two possible incidents of interference. In the first incident approaching the two furlong marker they found that SANDAGIYR(FR), unplaced, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa, had interfered with PRINCE OF JOHANNE(IRE), unplaced, ridden by John Fahy, who interfered with KAHRUMAN(USA), unplaced, ridden by Paul Hanagan, who then interfered with INVISIBLE MAN, unplaced, ridden by Frankie Dettori, who then interfered with SWITZERLAND(IRE), unplaced, ridden by Joe Fanning. The Stewards found De Sousa in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed his mount to drift right causing interference. They suspended him for 4 days as follows: Thursday 6, Friday 7, Sunday 9 and Monday 10 September.

In the second incident approximately two furlongs out they found that ANDERIEGO(IRE), unplaced, ridden by Kieren Fallon, had interfered with SANDAGIYR(FR), unplaced, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa, who then interfered with POSTSCRIPT(IRE), unplaced, ridden by Franny Norton. The Stewards found Fallon in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed his mount to drift right causing interference. They suspended him for 2 days as follows: Thursday 6 and Friday 7 September.

so both riders guilty of exactly the same offence but one gets 4 days while the other only gets 2.

I suppose on the bright side it will stop Ch4 throwing a party when fallon comes back.
