the horses he is riding arent that good.....not much he can do with them.

Jockeys sometimes -or even frequently - find themselves riding horses that aren't good enough to win.

I think his talking more about the postion Hughes has them in, both his last 2 rides had nowhere to go.
Doubt they would have won but still very bad positioning/riding. |

I have full respect for hughes he is a very good jockey, but sometimes wonder if he is in the mood.

ah ok, but in that case Hughes hasnt had a horse travelling all over the leaders only to get it blocked. Horses were held up and werent very good.

Rate Hughes highly, i think Hannons 2yo this season are nothing of what his had in recent seasons.
