i stopped contemplating having a bet when he has a runner in field, second guessing is impossible.

By:
The same people that had the bets with Baldy Fred I imagine, interesting to see if these accounts have been involved in much laying of certain runners
By:
Yes, It would also be interesting to see WHO LAID Silver Linnet for plenty at around 4.0 .... when it went off at 6.0 - and was Unplaced.

Re Elusive Hawk, comments from Racing Post spotlight....."Shown little in two starts this year although wouldn;t have beensuited by 7f on softish ground at Doncaster latest :now 8lb lower than when winning over C & D on good in 2010 and would be no surprise to see the money come for him " Racing Post Verdict..... " Elusive Hawk may not have shown much in two recent starts but similar comments can be applied to most of the field and its not difficult to imagine that the money might come for Barney Curley's charge " The horse is joint top rated according to the handicapper & Tom Queally was booked to ride.... OK I'm talking through my pocket but I had a good win bet on the nag.....happy days. |

Can someone tell me the difference between a hood and blinkers with regard to horses visibility, cheers.
By:
Sparrow only guessers bet at 9.00 am .. £10 punters
By:
zipper i'm glad you were on mate.
my only point here was just how extraordinary 30 seconds of trading was there. in a poor race and open looking field that was as perfect an execution of a punt you could possibly wish to see, certainly not doubting the form was there to win, if it had stayed around 10.0 would it have won ? not in my opinion. |
