I agree, a quite exceptional filly.

Hope she goes on to win the Arc again.

Perhaps this wee mare with a fantastic finishing kick will now get the credit she deserves from the smarmy wee git Jim McGrath from the vastly overrated Timeform mob who suggested the Arc win was a fluke.

I saw an interview where the head chap from Timeform tipped Danedream. Reason being that she was over-priced at 10-1.

After her Japan Cup and St Cloud flops I was also in the camp whom firmly believed her Arc demolition job was a "fluke", not anymore.
A brilliant performance yesterday in beating some very authentic opponents especially the excellent Nathaniel by a few inches.
What I will say though is that Danedream definitely needs a strong gallop and she got that yesterday.

Many pundits seem to judge the quality of a race by the price of the winner. If Danedream had been 2-1 (she almost broke the course record) at the Arc,the race would have been rated as one of the best ever!

I thought she had broken the course record in the Arc????

I am pretty sure she did as well. I can't think of many flukey Arc winners and that does the mare a disservice. Agreed she needs a strong pace.

and if I remember right didn't he try to rubbish Frankel after his Gns win,
saying to win it like that was a fluke and with that style of running
he may not be able to confirm that level of form again....

No denying she is top class anyone knocking her needs their head examined, just wished she showed that at Saint Cloud :(

If she had we would not have got the great price on her yesterday.
