It's a joke and epitomises this wretched channel...

Anyone would think those responsible for this channel, and their business partners, wanted to make life as difficult as possible for shrewd punters, imo...

yes, that's why they showed full replays for umpteen years previously Crazy

They did the same with Lingfield yesterday, and showed it back to back instead of showing the full races once...Cry

1. no head-ons on the website.
2. website was down recently.
3. can't verify race times on the website.
4. some races missing from the website.
5. some races split-screen on the website.
6. inferior quality on the website.
7. races deleted after certain amount of time on the website.

other than those ones off the top of my head, yes, no issues whatsoever.

millhouse, the ditching of the full replays is a very poor move for any serious form student but i dont for one minute think it has been done for the reason you are suggesting.

Duncan, like safety limits being reduced from 16 to 14, disqualifications being eradicated to the point where barging into your rivals is now a legitimate tactic as long as you win by more than a short head, tracks being incentivised to water, and the media being buttoned up to the point where they might as well be working for the Big Three (oh, hold on, lots of them already are)...??

i am sure none of those things have a jot to do with the ATR revamp

Duncan, the bookmaking industry, whose patronage keeps this channel alive, well and truly have form when it comes to preventing shrewd punters from having access to videos - and in my experience, the answer to most questions in this industry is almost always 'because the bookmakers want it'...

I don't think the dumbing down of the reviews is deliberate, I suspect they might have people producing them who are not racing people - how else can you explain not showing the start in sprint races, saves a few seconds of air time I suppose. Another annoying thing is not listing the numbers of the non runners on the odds screen before each race. The only thing I would have changed from the old system would have been the morbid music in the background, they kept that.

I don't believe it's anything to do with not wanting to help the punter, I have contacted SIS before and they have been absolutely excellent in trying to help.
Whoever is editing those Reviews though is making a total mess of it.

It should come as no surprise.

ATR are a totally rancid channel. They do have a clue about providing a racing channel that punters actually want.

The slow pics, which are nothing short of a disgrace
The worst pundits.
Quality of pictures are a throw back to the 80s.
The new lineup of repeated news items instead of a full racing review, tells you all you need to know about this putrid mob

If you are serious about racing and racetimes you will understand the importance of showing the full race on a television broadcast. If you believe it is unimportant, you are WAY behind, in many different aspects of the sport.

was having a sort out on my computer the other day and found this website little has changed in the last 7 years and comments then are similar to today except many more now just accept it, i think comment 16 summed things up well and their prediction regarding the journalists has proved itself, never be fooled by any of them (i didnt comment on the site before anyone asks)
