Recently got a scratch card from the now Ruk Scammers... according to the Scratch Card I won 4 months Subscription for £10 a month.. I phoned them today to take up my offer, only to find that you still have to take out a yearly subscription to qualify.. They are totally Misleading the Public.. I explained that I do not watch Jump Racing so 12 months Subscription is a waste of time for me.. but I would gladly pay the Full Whack for Flat Racing... but that fell on Deaf Ears.. Ruk=Scammers..!!

Another thing to watch is that you cannot transfer your subscription over if you change from Sky to Virgin or vice-versa - two totally separate entities which the scots bi tches on the phone will only be too pleased to tell you!

I got the scratch card too and won a year for £15 a month but still thinking about it as with the rate they're spamming my post box with offers they must be suffering so I can a) hold out for a better offer or b) wait to they go bust and ATR get their tracks. Don't think I could justify paying for something that ATR give for free (again) plus at least ATR show Irish, States & Aussie stuff.

It's just a shame one has to suffer the ravings of demented orange people on atr.

I believe if RUK went bust then Betfair would take it over in a minute and show it for free.

Not sure what would happen to RUK's constant bookmaker adverts, whether Betfair would still accept them or tell them to go and play with their FOBTs.

always TWO in its studio, TWO on-track and constant pretentious waffle that, for a long time now, has been muted; realistically I'd like to see this RUK channel fall by the wayside if only to see what would indeed happen to their racecourses.
'Misleading' the public is not to be tolerated, too much of it, have a look at the admission prices for 'their' courses btw.

'misleading people' is what this channel does for a living - no one should be surprised, imo.

Though don't worry, you can always 'go for a pint' with their smarmball Commercial Director after you've handed over your money for a 'Gold Membership'...

I am getting the distinct impression that RUK are not liked by most forumites.
