Bizarrely, the vast majority is water off a duck's back. I know my strengths and am painfully aware of my shortcomings. And one of the shortcomings is that I occasionally let people who constantly look to undermine those trying hard to do a decent job get on my wick. I would love to know who you are. I suspect you are quite old, beaten down and a little sad. I feel the same from time to time. Then I look at my family and I know I am one lucky lad, really.

Jesus, if you are half my age then I'm amazed. You come over as a deeply world weary cynic. That's me done. I'm working with Lydia on Thursday and will be sure to pass on your good wishes.
