Staggering.

Are they really so desperate for Camelot to win the Irish Derby that they sacrifice the only horse that could beat him, on ground that could ruin his season anyway?

Ground rules Imperial Monarch out of the Irish Derby but red-hot favourite Camelot will bid for Derby double in the Curragh Classic .

I find that comment very strange tbh,won on easy ground at Sandown ffsCrazy

I stand corrected - very strange given IM's Sandown win. Perhaps he'll turn up there next week.

They know they could shoot themselves in the foot by their 'other' horse turning Camelot over on unsuitable ground bearing in mind his potential stallion fees etc............funny that they p oop themselves over a danger from their own stable though.

The pity is that now, chances of a clash with Frankel are approxomately zero.

I expected them to do ENTIRELY the OPPOSITE.

So did I onlooker. Will watch with an interest. At 1.2 I'm quite prepared to lose and applaud a champ on levelling ground...
