Hay List would give this field 5 length a beating, Scenic Blast would have eaten this lot. Black Caviar is different gravy compared to these two. Should be 1.04!!
YOU will be having the biggest bet of your life then !! 1.18 and dropping like a stone...

I've laid @ 1.19. I actually think she will probably win easy as our lot are not much cop, but willing to risk a bit on a hunch that she might under perform because the journey, acclimatisation, ground, undulating track all might be against her.

Laid 1.23 for 20k too many negatives ie travel ground track not to get involved if she bolts up well done to all the backers brave enuff to take the short prices

Amazing ride. TBH Luke Nolen always seemed to be in control and he must have heard the horses on the inside. He can't possibly have judged it that well. He seemed to want to take it very easy hand and heels only. Over confidence?

I was thinking if she sweated like ortensia in the walk I would have layed off.
they reckon they could have misjudged the finish post.
they also think she mighn't be right
maybe she is in season.I was thinking if she sweated like ortensia in the walk I would have layed off.they reckon they could have misjudged the finish post.they also think she mighn't be right
Fair play, she cam all the way over on ground that maybe didnt suit, but it's obvious she's nowhere near as good as aussies want to believe. That's racing.

Take on Frankel and we'll see how good her unbeaten record is. I still maintain Moody is a one-trick pony. The horse trains herself give her to Aidan O'Brien

I admire Luke Nolen humility but I don't understand what he means by he underestimated the testing track of Ascot and how that created his "brain fade", does he mean he should have pushed her harder earlier?

the argument is over. aussie racing just isnt that strong on the world stage and that result has unfortunately confirmed that.
shes run to a mark of about 120.shes good. but no superstar.frankel beat a horse rated 125 by 11 lengths.he is a superstar/the argument is over. aussie racing just isnt that strong on the world stage and that result has unfortunately confirmed that.
its hard to judge on her on this race alone. the ground is softer than ideal and he did stop riding. if this was a quick track on fast ground it may have won by 3-4 lengths. should run in the july cup of good to firm

i do still believe she is better than she showed today but not sure how much by.
nothing wrong with the ground.trainer and jock said as much pre-race.cant blame now for an average run.i do still believe she is better than she showed today but not sure how much by.

He isn't talking about how he eased up on her, he is commenting on the fact that the horse was out on her feet regardless of him easing up on her, he is saying that he made too much use of her early in the race and it told on her late on.......we have to remember that even if he didn't ease up on her she would have been only a narrow winner of the race, we must not forget that, as i've said earlier, the easing up on her is clouding the fact that she was,in any event a very unconvincing winner of the race.

To be fare to the mare she didn't look great before the race seem to be losing her coat and she didn't quicken i don't think she is 100% but for Luke maybe he was looking after her but he couldn't find the 'big screen'
