Does anyone fancy that here? I am thinking at that price it has to be worth a punt. Clear form pick imo but what is yours? Please don't just leave a horses name without any descriptive analysis.

The price is open at 8:30am, will be gone by 9am probably as the arbers will swoop in. They let people on for a £500-200 for the Fugue, but today's Newfangled they were only letting people on for £150-50.  Even so £50 at a stand out punt to either sit on, or arb is fair enough.

I got more than 50 on newfangled today? In two bets like, one 25 and one 50. The 25 was for me but the cashier wasnt to know

I quite liked the way Red Cadeaux stayed on without been knocked about behind St Nic at Epsom, on a literal reading of the from Sea Moon has the beating of Red Cadeaeux, but RC seems to be improving all the time, I'd like to see him ridden up with the pace to make more use of his staying qualities.

The O'Brien horse looked impressive at Chester but Brown Panther clearly didn't run his race, at the prices I might just take a chance on Red, I can see him running a big race.

I'd be tempted to take Sea Moon on personally - was n't over enamoured with his return at Goodwood - think MT will improve for Chester race - he's been campaigned very lightly by AOB standards and kept for this race, agree with silvergreaser re. Red Cadeaux,Aiken is improving and stable in great form - Dunaden and the filly Testosterone(!) are not without a chance either.

Probably end up as no bet for me.

I am really tempted to have a small e.w bet on it at 4s tbh, money back if mugged (has the best form). Should be 1/4 odds as royal ascot though i will be checking first!

Thinking about throwing away £25 on a Black Caviar lay tomorrow too, this rain and with the ground and possible wind and cold, 1.25/1.26 a very cheap lay, and the ozzy's will help to keep price low so no hurry with that!

Billy's must really see this horse as one to take on.

They've got a money back offer if your horse finishes second to Sea Moon if you bet with them via the Racing Post app.

Prob accept max bet a fiver though!
Report Catford June 23, 2012 8:29 AM BST
Online they tended to allow £100 on stand outs, but yesterday only stood for £50. Still enough to arb against tho!

I am a big Dunaden fan. I don't think he has been fully fit yet this season and has been carrying penalties. If back to his best he will be very hard to beat. He may just need an extra furlong or 2 but he won a very good race in Sha Tin over 12 furlongs. The Stoute yard are still not quite firing despite the easy win by Estimate yesterday.
Report bazzar June 23, 2012 9:15 AM BST
It is my belief that SEA MOON has been over rated by the international panel, they used the Voltigeur as their guide and it now looks like an anomaly of a race.
Report Platini June 23, 2012 9:35 AM BST
Sea Moon is my bet of the meeting. Been waiting on this one to reappear provided the ground was soft. Stoute thinks the world of him and he is the master of training older horses. The horse had a setback as a 3 yo and wasn't able to take his chance in the Derby but later we saw his quality when slamming the field in the Voltigeur. He finished 3rd in the Leger over a trip too far, and then finished with a good 2nd to SNA at the Breeders Cup. He looks like he'd always improve from 3 to 4 although I don't think he needs to improve to take this. The key is the ground and on soft ground, he is a beast of a horse. Stoute owns this race and will have him spot on today for this.
SEA MOON very confident bet for me.

Wow to what do i deserve one of the great masters of the forum to appear of my threadConfused haha Crazy and to agree with me as well! Though i seen 8/1 Dunaden this morning i had to play e/way for a little saver, 8ib pull in the weights with Aiken should see him finish in front of that horse.

Though have played both e.w, my main bet obv but as said, e.w just in case it gets mugged Shocked!
Report SEATHESTARS....NO1 June 23, 2012 9:50 AM BST
I personally cannot help but think Memphis Tennessee was flattered last time as the hot fav' disappointed so badly and it was only a 4 runner affair too so i cannot have that horse on my mind in this.

Aiken as already pointed out is an improving sort, will not mind the ground but Dunaden is 8ib better off at the weights from when they met and if theres a strong enough pace and he is ridden a lot closer to the pace this time, at 8/1, cannot be kept out of the frame imho!

Gl all! Wink
Report sageform June 23, 2012 11:25 AM BST
8/1 is certainly the wrong price-only 6.8 on here now but Aiken is a hard horse to assess and beat Dunaden 3 lengths getting 7lb. I still think that Dunaden might not have been wound up for his 2 runs with a long season ahead. He was certainly ridden for a place only at Newmarket.
Report uptheboro June 23, 2012 11:54 AM BST
Well i guess its all about opinions. Personally i just cannot have Sea Moon at all and will probably lay in the place market and hopefully ir in the win market. Granted it was his first run of the season and may improve for it, but to have scrambled home by a head from Dandino would hardly inspire confidence for me going into what i think is a very competitive race.

Aiken looks sure to go well and has apparently been catching pigeons on the gallops. I have to say though on this occasion i like Memphis Tennesee. I cannot see this one being out of the frame and have had a big e way bet. O'Brien won this last year with Await The Dawn who was similarly lightly raced and won at Chester prior to coming here.

Best of Luck to everyone thoughHappy
