Global village won well in the victoria cup but the time wasnt explosive and hopefully they will go a tad more gung ho in it this time, he kind of got the run through nicely, the newbury run was a better time and he found little when looking like the winner, 6lbs higher and maybe a better race now that many have improved for fittness, I cant be backing a horse that won @ 9-1 at 4-1 for this, that makes no sense, surely something can beat it!! still no bet for me with the draw such a factor

Eton Forever went into my notebook when it got into so much trouble at Chester last time. It annoyed me when it went out to 20/1 on here so I had a further bet.. Only had two winners at Ascot this year but the other one was Prince Johannes so not turning out too bad...
