Sorry thats utter crap, they changed it didnt they

From today the stalls numbering system will be reversed for all right handed tracks in Britain, with Leicester this afternoon being the first exponent of the changes.

To bring Britain in line with the rest of the racing world, stall one will be the stall closest to the inside rail. This will affect tracks such as Kempton and Ascot who have a right hand bend. Traditionally these right handed tracks would have stall one furthest away from the inside rail. This will now be reversed with stall one being on the inside.

I don't know what I'd do without you lot (possibly win) Happy

Thanks anyway maybe Racing For Change can do something about this , as it appears that even hardened gamblers like ourselves aren't sure

If someone says " I think the standside might be favoured" they should back this up saying (High Numbers). Alternatively they could just say " I think High Numbers might be favoured" as that's what everyone is trying to work out

I'd heard that before tt. "Like an athletics track" I was told. Was never sure it was true as I thought I'd seen different ( however it might just be bad memory)

the july course has low numbers stand side because of the course layout and I believe windsor is possibly different as well because it's a figure of eight but nearly every other course in the UK has high numbers nearest the stands.

if youre struggling with ascot, go check out windsor!!!! figure of eight track, i still cant get it completely, im sure they ran a straight 5 furlongs with low numbers standside, due to layout of track
