murtagh kept sentaril nearer last than first as well until they were inside the final 2f.
if he had moved sooner he might have got there. |
By:
If he had it mid div the horse wins easy
By:
I thought something may be wrong halfway and he might be pulling it up.
A baffling (lack of) effort |
By:
Nothing to do with effort,he is just a thick p rick who has to hold up nearly everything he rides
By:
Absolutely appalling.Finished like a train. One to follow if that plum doesn't ride it again.Hopefully Bell will jock him off it.
By:
As much chance of that happening as him giving you the ride on it
By:
Group horse without a doubt. I've watched it 3 times now and that was a truly shocking ride. The horse should have won the race, not only won it,should have won it comfortably
By:
LOL! I would put up about 15 stone overweight.
By:
Has this ever happened before?
By:
Might still have won then.....

in rear, still last and plenty to do over 2f out, driven and headway near side over 1f out, strong run inside final furlong, going on close home

There are three jockeys who regularly ride like that I
wonder if they have homosexual tendencies, as they like to view mens bums. |
By:
Spencer had a nightmare today on everything he rode |
By:
So pver rated it's just laughable
By:
so what about fame and glory's chances tomorrow.can he mess it up.
By:
If you had viewed his ride on O'Brien horse in King George 6th and Queen
Elizabeth stakes a few years ago, it would have put you off backing him on most horses, I think DOYEN won but could be wrong. |

You could fill a book with the ones that go wrong, but the media are only willing to highlight the 'genius' on the occasions when he gets it right. Even if they did criticise his ego is probably such that he would continue to the same again.
I have particularly painful memories of Wigmore Hall a couple of seasons ago. Nobody made much of it as the favourite Afsare won. For me it was the difference between a winning and losing Ascot. |
