I remember Spring Cabbage running in pale blinkers (black and white TV) - which was a bit unusual then - blinkers were almost always black then.

Aye a lot of Frog ones did.

St Amant - won the Derby wearing blinkers in a rainstorm. Plenty of people at the time put his win down to wesaring them. Though he also won the Guineas. But Pretty Polly thrashed him every time they met.
