Always the same.. I was shot down before for mentioning it on here. Was told its a betting show. Yet they never show football. Its a racing channel and thats all they need to concentrate on.

Just emailed this to AT The Whatever
Hi Tony Can you explain to me why your covering Football and Tennis. I have just switched over to Mark Your Card on Racing Uk. They are a racing channel covering what it says on the tin, Racing. Is it because they are not owned by SIS and therefore not controlled by the big 4 bookies. The morning line on Channel 4 covers racing because thats what Channel 4 racing's job is. However for you to sit there and bullshit us with Football and Tennis is an absolute waste. Get ON with what your there for ""AT THE RACES"" And don't start glossing it over with people tune in to listen to football and tennis talk. Let them go to a channel with that crap on it. Disgusted Mark Dublin |

"It's important that we cover the sports betting chances"
No it isn't. Might be important for your bookmaking partners (and right on cue, here's one on the line) but that's about it. |

Here is the reply from them..
We are speaking to two trainers and a jockey about today’s racing as well as the sport which is why the show is an hour long today |

Another belting show. 25 minutes before we get mention of any horses.
We've had; - the obligatory bookie's rep promoting 'next manager' markets, and telling us he's looking forward to being on ATR every day. - Darrell advising us to back about 20 of Jeremy Chapman's tips, and advising us to back a 66/1 shot for a 'fun bet' - William Hill getting some free promotion of their market on what colour hat the Queen will wear at Ascot. It really is a bookies wet dream. |
