Just dont get it.

He is "supposed" to be tipping "you/me/them" value horses.

He has gone for a lot with laddies lately that have ran stinkers.

Not saying that he is putting up nonners thats daft . . .But why on earth would Laddies want him targeting them when he is on there payroll.Devil

Surely its not just to get people through there doors that have no chance of getting on at the price but will have a bet anyway . . Devil

My laddies opens at 9 now instead of 8.30  . . . . .Wonder why that is . . . . . Devil

16 runner h/capp value ew if 16 go . . .But is it value at 9/1 ew in a 15 runner h/cap. Be very surprised if one or more dont come out.

Same as Shropshire 12/1 in a 16 runner h/cap poss ew value . . but is it value at 10/1 in a 15 runner h/capp?

I may be parinoidCrazy with my hatred of this firm, but they could turn Mother Teressa.

Morning Grim, I don't know whose doing our ante-post prices at the moment but they've made a right balls up of the Jockeys market.
They adjusted the prices yesterday and pushed Buick out to 25's ShockedShockedand Hughes to 5's Confused
They did go out on a limb though and made Frankie 66's LaughLaugh

fen, he is supposed to be a tipster, my idea of a tipster is to bet or try pick winners in a race where they have or think they have an angle, the races tom tips in tells you everything about the operation the post is running

if they wanted winners they would have given him a free hand in what races he bets in but they want publicity not winners
and they have fallen flat on their faces

good luck to the man but I have been betting in the races tom bets in and I have picked two yes two winners in the last 20 races so the races he picks to bet in are extremely tricky

I was thinking along the same lines 3 to 4 weeks ago Fen, there were some
strange picks, I thought why's he gone for that.
That vasily, hosed up on gd to fm twice, runs stinker on gd to sft, yet our
tom's gone for it on soft at newmarket, ok it's a saddlers wells, is that enough, knowing the
way he thinks, this is hardly screaming back me I really want soft grnd ?
There's at least 4 other progressive horses in the race, Spifer high jinx, mulaquen, anatolian
which will probably go on from here, our tom's going national and taking them all on, with a
horse that's won a 0/85 windsor h/cap, 2nd beat since, 3rd beat in 6 runs previous, 4th beat
in it's 11 previous runs. I could be wrong, but it's not his usual line on thinking is it.
Post been in bed with books last 4 years, do they really want a successful pricewise.
he's on a long losing run emmmmm. p.s. I havn't read today's paper

motley while not saying he is bed with the books it is strange he picks the toughest handicaps of the day to punt in when was the last time he said " 11/4 2nd fav in a seven horse race must be the banker of the day.
agree on vasilv I give him no chance today, (watch him hose up now).

I'm not saying Vasily has no chance, I just can't see it in the book with today's conditions. As regards the
races he tips in, they are the one's he gets prices on, before the print deadlines, so he's ltd in that respect
No matter what he puts the droogs will follow in, there have been numerous strange selections all beat.

i do pricewise occassionally, and yes im lucky to get a tenner on, hills occassional 50 quid, but as the races he picks, as far as i can remember theyre always bbc/ c4 races, the big hcaps of the day, the occassional group1, and the really big meetings will pick one in most of the races covered by terr tv,   so in his defence nothing has changed as his selected races .

After many years of backing the pricewise selections blindly i will stop following Sir Tom once i have recovered this current losing spell which goes back to gold cup day.

I no longer buy the Racing Post as the pricwise grids are pointless and mean nothing and the selections are put up everywhere for free , its a case now of backing here or hills and betfred shops , so you dont need to know who is best peice anymore.

The time to end Pricewise has arrived and I am one of its most loyal followers.

A sad end imo.Sad

The objective of Pricewise is not for the people following to make a profit - it's to sell newspapers to those clueless and naive enough to think that they will be allowed to make a profit, imo...

I was restricted to £25 on each selection in my local shop. I saw the screen, that all anyone was allowed. A friend got £50 in a different shop, the staff didn't check obviously, probably the manager wasn't there. So given the prices were only available in a small number of shops (those that open at 8am or earlier) and they were only allowing £25 in general, Ladcrooks must have though both horses had chances. Usually when they know a horse has no chance they don't restrict you!

Whats happening at Ladcrooks? I've never been restricted in a shop to only £25 on a 14/1 shot before.

I guess, they, like all their rivals, are only really interested in FOBT's now.
