Was fine last night and apparently it is changing to Betfair.es. Any idea anyone, when it will be accessible?

Only the forum.. I can't access any of the betting markets. I knew there were licensing issues but Betfair got it's license granted yesterday, so I thought everything would continue as normal.

The Spantards apparently have a tax law that bankrupts all gamblers anyway.  You can offset losses against wins. So breakeven day with a few winners and losers means a huge tax bill, same with poker.  All the gaming companies know about the problem, and are ignoring it (while passing on Spanish gamblers ID numbers to the authorities)

i read somewhere that the new licence entitled them to operate a sportsbook type operation but not the exchange, there is alot of confusion but i can't see anything betfair themselves have said, it would be simimlar to this one for italy if that's the case

der_der_73   Looks like the UK vpn is going to be the only way forward, have lost access to about a dozen bookies now.

Question - can you choose when to use the uk vpn & when not to easily? Or is it one or the other the whole time?

Sorry that should read UK IP not UK VPN

Wish I was living out there. Constant rain over here at the moment and most of the forecasts suggest summer isn't going happen again. Got 4 layers of clothes on to keep warm.
All the best sunbathing in the 42 degree heat.

Ray yeah you can choose to use it or not, you have a little connection to use..just click on it and it will create a VPN connection to the company you use and once connection you have a UK IP address.  Once you disconnect your IP address will revert back to Spain or wherever you are
