Ascot’s red carpet is being rolled out for the arrival on Thursday of Australia’s most famous horse since Phar Lap. Stand by for the Black Caviar show to hit British racing in the build-up to Europe’s most glittering racing festival.

The Royal meeting has been such a resounding success in attracting the best horses internationally that it has grown to become Britain’s answer to the Breeders’ Cup – and it takes place over five days. No wonder it is the envy of the racing world, and the unbeaten Black Caviar is set to play a starring role this year.
Inevitably, there have been anxious moments leading up to Black Caviar’s departure – she leaves Australia on Wednesday and will be stabled in Newmarket on arrival – and trainer Peter Moody is on record as saying he is “a bit nervous about it all”.
But what sensible trainer wouldn’t be? Moody has in his charge the biggest equine star in Australia since the legendary Phar Lap, the 1930 Melbourne Cup winner, whose career ended in tragedy when he died in California not long after winning a race at Agua Caliente in Tijuana, just over the Mexican border.
Not that Moody, nor Black Caviar’s six owners, should have any concerns on that point, though they will be fully aware that the unbeaten mare’s incredible record of 21 wins is at stake when she lines up on foreign soil in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes on June 23.
Being a true equine champion brings with it the usual baggage of saturation media coverage, which often leads to the type of speculative story that appeared on Monday in The Australian, which warned: “Doubts persist over Black Caviar trip.”
Nick Smith, Ascot’s head of communications and international racing, denied there had been any last-minute change of plans. “I don’t think there is any question of the Black Caviar team getting cold feet. I’d say they are nervous because this is a big step, and they are aware of everything that goes with it.
“But any report that says they are not coming is just complete drivel,” Smith said. “I have just received back from connections Black Caviar’s travel contract, which is an agreement covering her travel allowance.
"The shipping and the stabling at Newmarket are booked, and one of the owners, Neal Werrett, came down to Ascot last Thursday to meet Chris Stickels [clerk of the course] and others in the office.”
Smith said that international visitors were all given the opportunity to gallop once on Ascot racecourse prior to the meeting. This facility will be offered to Moody, though the serious part of the mare’s final preparation will take place at Newmarket.
Black Caviar is a best-priced 1-2 to win the Diamond Jubilee, while the nearest to her in betting is Bated Breath, at 8-1.

he wished the horse and her connections luck on the day and stated that he gave more credence to her connections than to the drum beaters on here.
maybe it's because you live down under that you see everything upside down.

I'm also probably one of the least patriotic person there is too and I'm no more proud or ashamed to be British as I am to have blue eyes. It's not as if I had any say in the matter or any control over it and just for good measure, my Dad's side of the family are Irish anyway.
I say quite reasonably that Black Caviar still has something to prove because she's being asked to do something she hasn't done before, as in fly halfway around the world and win and even connections admit to being nervous and he comes back with:

Peter Moody (along with all Australians) is horribly concerned, nervous, with BLACK CAVIAR going to England. He has absolutely no concerns that she will be beaten. If Moody's worst fears are realised and something goes wrong, that something will be between here and England, it certainly wont be on the racetrack.
BLACK CAVIAR simply will not come home with a loss to her name, she could very well come back with no additional starts to her name but, she sure as hell wont come home with a loss against it.

I cant see her being backed at that price with out it being known if the flight over here has taken anything out of her.
My personal thinking is that the layers will try and get her beat on the day with 4/6 maybe available.

LOL....I've answered all of those point before smegma but you do your usual ostrich trick. You still haven't told me if it snows in Australia in April/May and so affects the horses' training schedule, thinking that if you bury your head in the sand that the awkward questions might go away.

His blistering turn of speed in the Investec Specialist Bank “Dash” at Epsom broke the record for the fastest electronically timed run over 5f anywhere in the world! As you’ll hear from John in the video, his run was even more impressive because of his wide draw, we believe no-one has won this race from a draw lower than 9 before (he was drawn 2). About 35 of his ecstatic owners were there to witness his historic win and needless to say John, Helen and all the team are absolutely thrilled.

Seriously though i hope she arrives here safely and truth be known if she gets in to the stalls at Royal Ascot in one piece with no ill affects after her journey anything under 1/5 is like going into a bookies today and been allowed to back tommorow been thursday. The only reason she's 1/2 up here and 2/7 down there is they are factoring in the travelling aspect. She's a monster and there isn't a horse to touch her(apart from Frankel who would beat her 10 lengths but he's not running) So get on at any price if she's sound. . . There are you happy Megsy and Educee i nearly broke 3 teeth gritting them writing that

The fastest horse in the world will stop over in Sharjah en route to Britain to race at Royal Ascot with her trainer warning she has never been in better shape.
Black Caviar, the Australian thoroughbred, left Melbourne today and is scheduled to stop in Singapore and then the UAE as part of a detailed plan to ensure the champion mare is in the best possible shape to win her 22nd race from as many starts in the six-furlong Diamond Jubilee Stakes on June 23.
There was even a possibility before the flight that Peter Moody, her trainer, would provide Black Caviar with a compression suit to wear through the flight.
This had come as a suggestion from an Australian athlete as a way of keeping the horse warm and reducing the chances of her catching shipping fever, while also protecting against the changes in air pressure.
But it is unclear whether she had the suit on as the flight left Australia at around 4pm UAE time today; typically trainers try to ensure a horse travels with the least amount of gear possible.
Unlike regular passengers, Black Caviar will have to stand in her crate for at least 30 hours.
She will not disembark the aircraft at either Singapore, where they will stop for an hour, or Sharjah, where she is expected to arrive at 11am tomorrow and stay for around another hour as the plane is refuelled, crew changed and she is fed.
“It is a long flight all the way through so the transits are good in some way because they open the cargo door so there is a possibility of cross-ventilation going through and at the same time they feed and water the horses,” said David Robson, the managing director of a Dubai-based logistics company. An Australian company, IRT, is handling Black Caviar’s transportation.
From Heathrow, Black Caviar will be transported to Abington House stables, which is owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa.
She will have nearly two weeks to recover from the trip and acclimatise to conditions in the UK. "On an average horses can lose up to 5kg on travel depending on how well the horse travelled," said Robson.
"But a horse like Black Caviar can bounce back in the first week. It will take a bit of time to acclimatise coming from Australia in the southern hemisphere where it is closer to winter and being in England where the weather is fairly decent. It'll probably take a week to recover fully."
Moody is supremely confident she will keep her unbeaten record intact. "She's getting on the plane the fittest she's been in her career," he told reporters. Moody said he would consider running her in the six-furlong July Cup at Newmarket next month if she came through the Ascot race in good order.

BLACK CAVIAR Q&A: SHANE ANDERSON @Globalgallop
Leading Australian broadcaster Shane Anderson, who works for Radio Sports National, joined us again to answer our Black Caviar questions ahead of her arrival in England.
sportinglife: Since we last spoke Black Caviar has won three more races. What have we learned about her?
Shane Anderson: Trainer Peter Moody insists she is better than ever which is quite frightening considering what she's already achieved. Royal Ascot will be the 22nd race of her career and he's told us this week in Australia that he's never had her fitter.
The key ingredient for him has always been to have her at her peak fitness level before she leaves Australia so that whatever weight or condition she loses heading over, it's only a case of tweaking things. Based on what he's told us, that's where they're at.
sportinglife: How big a worry is the journey for her connections?
SA: It is a massive concern for Peter. He has come to Royal Ascot on three previous occasions bringing Magnus over for two successive years in 2007 and 2008 and last year Hinchinbrook but he unfortunately went amiss two days out from the meeting.
He knows what it takes to bring a horse across and he has stated repeatedly to the media here in Australia that if anything goes wrong with her in the best part of a week-and-a-half she'll be based in Newmarket, she won't run. He has to be 100 per cent happy to let her take her chance.
sportinglife: What do you make of the decision to go for the Diamond Jubilee in preference to the King's Stand - or indeed run in both?
SA: I'm not surprised they've chosen one, outside Choisir it's been proven it's virtually impossible to complete the double, he had to reinvent sprinting almost to do it. As good as she is she does have management issues and it would be folly for connections to push her in a way they've never had to before.
He's chosen the toughest race of the two. From the Australian perspective look at our records in the two races, from memory we've won four King's Stands and one Diamond Jubilee. It's a tougher race to win so Peter has done everything he can to get here there at the peak of her powers. If she came out and won the 1,000 metre sprint you guys would say 'she's done what we expect of Australian sprinters'. If she comes out and does what we expect her to do in the Saturday race it will really make you guys stand up and acknowledge she's every bit as good as we've been saying for the last two years.
sportinglife: How big a call was it for connections to decide to come over to Royal Ascot with her?
SA: The owners have left every decision about Black Caviar's career to Peter and the only reason he wants to come over is to silence any critics that still exist in the northern hemisphere. From an Australian media perspective we can say she's the best sprinter, the best mare, in the world but until she steps out into the UK and proves to you guys that she's every bit as good as Frankel, it's just talk. She needs to come over and do what we think she can do and that's the only reason connections are running her. Realistically Peter would have loved to have kept her in Australia. Prize-money levels are better; he talks about the overall sprint competition being stronger so realistically he's only doing it to prove to the wider world that she's every bit as good as the Australian people have been saying.
sportinglife: What are you expecting to see from Black Caviar at Royal Ascot?
SA: I could easily say she's going to break tracks and win by big spaces but what I'll say is if she arrives fit and well, and that's the only way she'll run, you guys are going to see something, in a sprint race at least, that you've never seen before. She has the ability to crush rivals from halfway, she can decimate a field like no horse in the world with Frankel the only possible exception. She's extraordinary and it will be a privilege for you guys to see what she can do at the biggest occasion in the racing world - Royal Ascot.
sportinglife: What else are you looking forward to seeing at Royal Ascot?
SA: We've got Ortensia running in the King's Stand Stakes. She proved by winning in Dubai that she's clearly world class. In Australian ratings she sits on the brink of our top ten sprinters, she's not an out-and-out superstar, but is a horse who can travel and she's settled in well in Newmarket. Paul Messara has trained her specifically to win the King's Stand Stakes and she looks well suited to the race. From an Australian perspective we're looking to bookend the meeting with her and Black Caviar. We're also looking forward to seeing So You Think in either the Prince of Wales's or against Frankel in the Queen Anne - and there's always one eye on potential Melbourne Cup horses for the end of the year too.
From an Australian perspective Royal Ascot has never been bigger, there's huge interest in it. When Black Caviar races on the Saturday night it will be covered by commercial television over here and not just the two racing networks. There's also an outside broadcast right in the middle of Melbourne in Federation Square with her race shown live on the big screen to thousands of fans who will be there. BLACK CAVIAR Q&A: SHANE ANDERSON @Globalgallop
Leading Australian broadcaster Shane Anderson, who works for Radio Sports National, joined us again to answer our Black Caviar questions ahead of her arrival in England.
sportinglife: Since we last spoke Black Caviar has won three more races. What have we learned about her?
Shane Anderson: Trainer Peter Moody insists she is better than ever which is quite frightening considering what she's already achieved. Royal Ascot will be the 22nd race of her career and he's told us this week in Australia that he's never had her fitter.
The key ingredient for him has always been to have her at her peak fitness level before she leaves Australia so that whatever weight or condition she loses heading over, it's only a case of tweaking things. Based on what he's told us, that's where they're at.
sportinglife: How big a worry is the journey for her connections?
SA: It is a massive concern for Peter. He has come to Royal Ascot on three previous occasions bringing Magnus over for two successive years in 2007 and 2008 and last year Hinchinbrook but he unfortunately went amiss two days out from the meeting.
He knows what it takes to bring a horse across and he has stated repeatedly to the media here in Australia that if anything goes wrong with her in the best part of a week-and-a-half she'll be based in Newmarket, she won't run. He has to be 100 per cent happy to let her take her chance.
sportinglife: What do you make of the decision to go for the Diamond Jubilee in preference to the King's Stand - or indeed run in both?
SA: I'm not surprised they've chosen one, outside Choisir it's been proven it's virtually impossible to complete the double, he had to reinvent sprinting almost to do it. As good as she is she does have management issues and it would be folly for connections to push her in a way they've never had to before.
He's chosen the toughest race of the two. From the Australian perspective look at our records in the two races, from memory we've won four King's Stands and one Diamond Jubilee. It's a tougher race to win so Peter has done everything he can to get here there at the peak of her powers. If she came out and won the 1,000 metre sprint you guys would say 'she's done what we expect of Australian sprinters'. If she comes out and does what we expect her to do in the Saturday race it will really make you guys stand up and acknowledge she's every bit as good as we've been saying for the last two years.
sportinglife: How big a call was it for connections to decide to come over to Royal Ascot with her?
SA: The owners have left every decision about Black Caviar's career to Peter and the only reason he wants to come over is to silence any critics that still exist in the northern hemisphere. From an Australian media perspective we can say she's the best sprinter, the best mare, in the world but until she steps out into the UK and proves to you guys that she's every bit as good as Frankel, it's just talk. She needs to come over and do what we think she can do and that's the only reason connections are running her. Realistically Peter would have loved to have kept her in Australia. Prize-money levels are better; he talks about the overall sprint competition being stronger so realistically he's only doing it to prove to the wider world that she's every bit as good as the Australian people have been saying.
sportinglife: What are you expecting to see from Black Caviar at Royal Ascot?
SA: I could easily say she's going to break tracks and win by big spaces but what I'll say is if she arrives fit and well, and that's the only way she'll run, you guys are going to see something, in a sprint race at least, that you've never seen before. She has the ability to crush rivals from halfway, she can decimate a field like no horse in the world with Frankel the only possible exception. She's extraordinary and it will be a privilege for you guys to see what she can do at the biggest occasion in the racing world - Royal Ascot.
sportinglife: What else are you looking forward to seeing at Royal Ascot?
SA: We've got Ortensia running in the King's Stand Stakes. She proved by winning in Dubai that she's clearly world class. In Australian ratings she sits on the brink of our top ten sprinters, she's not an out-and-out superstar, but is a horse who can travel and she's settled in well in Newmarket. Paul Messara has trained her specifically to win the King's Stand Stakes and she looks well suited to the race. From an Australian perspective we're looking to bookend the meeting with her and Black Caviar. We're also looking forward to seeing So You Think in either the Prince of Wales's or against Frankel in the Queen Anne - and there's always one eye on potential Melbourne Cup horses for the end of the year too.
From an Australian perspective Royal Ascot has never been bigger, there's huge interest in it. When Black Caviar races on the Saturday night it will be covered by commercial television over here and not just the two racing networks. There's also an outside broadcast right in the middle of Melbourne in Federation Square with her race shown live on the big screen to thousands of fans who will be there. That's the reach of Black Caviar and that's the reach of Royal Ascot this year.

FFS all last season the claims were Frankel couldn't be considered a great until he moved up in trip and won beyond a mile and beat the likes of So You Think at 10f and over. Now that one's been well and truly put it its place by lesser horses than Frankel you are wanting him to drop back. Funny too how the fantasy challenge is not being made at 7f where both horses have won and remind me again what happened when the challenge was a mile in the Sussex? Plus this latest fantasy challenge was made knowing full well connections have already said they intend moving up in distance with Frankel.
If we do an en masse (that means as a group smegma boy) ostrich impersonation do you think there's a chance that nobody will notice that Frankel, despite the fact Black Caviar would be run off her feet by him at 6f and she'd get a great view of his @rse, has never run at 6f before and not even as a green 2YO on debut?

LOL edunce @ the Wiki dig from the bloke who wasn't aware that the 2000gns and seemingly the other classics were for 3YOs only and also stated as fact that Black Caviar would be coming around a right handed bend at Royal Ascot.
Oh and if you can hear websites being loaded up then maybe it's time you upgraded from Windows 95.
I'm more than happy to admit I was unsure of a certain fact so looked it up and because I was unsure then misinterpreted the information listed but then again, I suppose though I could have made a total pr1ck of myself with something like the two beauties above and tried winging it and making it up as I go along.
Still clutching at those straws though I see, as the finer detail was largely irrelevant and had as much bearing on the principal point being made as to whether the horse ran on the day with its mane plaited or loose, but desperate times call for desperate measure I suppose and in some ways you actually have to be pitied for clinging on to whatever you can.

SHE is the fastest horse on earth and her trainer believes there isn't another alive that can beat her.
But as Black Caviar boarded a plane for England on Wednesday, trainer Peter Moody warned she wouldn't take a single step on an English racecourse unless she came through the trip in perfect shape.
"If she doesn't travel well and I'm not 100 per cent happy with her, everyone will have a nice holiday in England and won't see her race," Moody said.
Black Caviar will attempt to win her 22nd race from as many starts in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes (1200m) at Royal Ascot on June 23 and Moody is supremely confident she will keep her unbeaten record intact.
"She's getting on the plane the fittest she's been in her career," he said.
Moody has devised a special program under which Black Caviar did her most testing gallops at home at Caulfield, leaving her two weeks in England to recover from the flight.
"I don't want to have to train her for the next two weeks," Moody said.
In his efforts to have his champion mare ready for her appointment with the Queen at Royal Ascot, Moody has gone to extraordinary lengths.
As well as the celebrated compression suit she will wear on the flight, Moody has made it clear to Singapore Airlines that they have a special passenger on board and has sent her vet Peter Angus, his stable foreman Tony Haydon and exercise rider Paddy Bell on the flight with her.
He also sent a load of her favourite feed to England ahead of her last week.
"Singapore Airlines have been terrific, they realise what cargo they're carrying and every effort has been made to keep the stopovers as brief as possible," he said.
Unlike regular passengers who can walk around the cabin, Black Caviar will have to stand in her crate for at least 30 hours, depending on the length of stopovers in Singapore and Sharjah.
By the time she gets to her English stables at Newmarket she is likely to have been in a plane or a truck for around 36 hours.

Are you seriously trying to tell me that races like the Gr1 William Reid worth over £200k to the winner, the Gr1 T J Smith worth just shy of £400k to the winner, the Gr1 BTC Cup worth £170k to the winner, the Gr1 Orr Stakes worth £160k to the winner, the Gr1 Classic/Sangster race worth £167k to the winner and the Gr1 Goodwood worth £210k to the winner can't be considered top level Aussie sprint races? A little clue that they can is the bit stating Gr1 in the race title.

So why is Black Caviar supposed to be so special anyway then if she's only won 5 races from 21 that were supposedly top races and of any worth?

I didn't say UK horses would be disadvantaged running around a bend, that's just a fantasy you create in your (correct use) head in between hearing voices. What I actually said was that our season ends in November and starts again in March and that for any of our horses to come over for races, they wouldn't just do their training routine on the plane over and would be expected to do 2 weeks of quarantine in both countries as well as the trainers wanting to get a turf training routine into their horses before going over and that doesn't mean one gallop before getting on the plane.
I then said there was no turf racing in the lead up to that and trainers often couldn't use the grass gallops during Dec/Jan/Feb due to snow and frost and general weather conditions and we've even had snow during the Cheltenham Festival in March in the past. All of this I've said before but you've been unable to retain it due to not printing it out so you can refer to it again when in difficulty. I've also said the weather at that time of year is why AW racing was starting here (and we've even had AW meeting abandoned due to weather too) and why Godolphin winter their horses in Dubai and finally mentioned that if any UK horses came over for Aussie races in those months, then their trainers would probably like them to have a prep race or at least a racecourse gallop on a turning turf track like Chester which the first isn't possible and the second unlikely.
Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Mooney Valley a turning track? Isn't the Gr1 William Reid race held there and isn't that race run in March? You are the only one putting any emphasis on 3 races only, nobody else and especially when I've said enough times that the Aussie horses coming here have the edge at 5f but have a poor record here at 6f, so any UK trainers would want as much as possible in their favour and would be more than likely to target 6f races. Isn't the Lightning a 5f race? You've also gone from any top Aussie sprints to the 3 "premier" to now the 2 only with the World Sprint Challenge, making restrictions up as you go along and wanting to limit everyone else to talk about what you try to decide to. What part of you don't dictate what anyone else wants to talk about don't you quite understand?
As for the $1m bonus, are you really expecting any UK horses to come over for races in November, February and March which will mean flying halfway around the world and back at least twice and in that case would make more sense for the owner to transfer the horse to an Aussie trainer and leave it there, but once again I've said all of this to you before but you won't remember that.

AUSTRALIAN sprint queen Black Caviar touched down at Heathrow airport, London, just before 5pm on Thursday after a 30-hour journey that began in Melbourne, south Australia.
After stops in Singapore and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, Black Caviar landed at Britain's largest airport on board a Singapore Airlines cargo flight and wearing her specially-designed Lycra compression suit designed to promote blood-flow and muscle recovery.
From there she was loaded onto a horse box and transported by road to her home for the next few weeks, the Abington Place Stables in Newmarket, where so many international runners have stayed while preparing for races in Britain.
She is due to run in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on Saturday, June 23, a race for which she is no bigger than 1-2, although those odds are far more generous than usually on offer when she races in Australia.
With victory a foregone conclusion in the eyes of many, the debate has already turned to how comprehensive Black Caviar's win will be, and Coral make the unbeaten mare a 6-1 chance to win the Diamond Jubilee by five lengths or more.
"Having arrived safely on these shores, Black Caviar looks set to blow the opposition away on her first start outside of Australia when she lines up in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes," said Coral's David Stevens.

The world's top-ranked sprinter sported a custom-made Lycra compression suit to ease the lengthy journey, which included stops along the way in Singapore and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
A perfect 21-for-21 over her career, Black Caviar has set a new modern-day international record for the top level of Flat racing. She will seek to add to her legend by racing outside of Australia for the first time.
In honor of her arrival, the British Champions Series has compiled 21 facts about her, one for each of her victories:
1. She is the greatest sprinter in the world and the second highest-rated horse on the planet behind the British-trained miler, Frankel. Both horses are set to race in British Champions Series races during Royal Ascot, with Frankel targeting the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes over a mile on the first day, June 19, and Black Caviar the Diamond Jubilee Stakes over six furlongs on the final day, June 23. Black Caviar is then expected to contest the Group 1 July Cup at Newmarket on July 14.
2. The undisputed queen of the turf collected her 20th straight victory in the Group 1 Sportingbet Classic (Robert Sangster) at Morphetville on April 28, beating the previous Australasian record of 19 straight wins at metropolitan tracks, set by both Desert Gold (1915-1917) and Gloaming (1919-1921) almost 100 years ago.
3. That 20th victory also broke the modern-day international record for the top level of Thoroughbred racing set by the brilliant United States-based mare, Zenyatta, who scored 19 consecutive wins before tasting defeat in her 20th and final start. Black Caviar subsequently made it 21 out of 21 in the Group 1 Goodwood at Morphetville on May 12.
4. Her fastest 200-meter (one furlong) split is :9.98 between the 600 and 400-meter mark in the Group 1 Lightning Stakes (her 19th win) earlier this year. She's the first horse in Australia to break 10 seconds for a furlong in an official Thoroughbred race, giving her a top speed of 72.14 km/h or 45.09 mph.

Black Caviar touches down at London's Heathrow Airport

BLACK Caviar has landed at Heathrow Airport and cleared immigration - after being ordered to strip naked - ahead of her date with destiny at the Royal Ascot races.
The unbeaten Australian champion racehorse arrived in style in a cutting-edge compression suit, but was ordered to remove the garment soon after her arrival.
Horses, like humans, have passports. But instead of mug shots they display a two-dimensional diagram that highlights their unique markings, so quarantine vets have to check their bare hair to verify their identities.
After 30 hours in transit, most travellers would have baulked at the request. But six-year-old Black Caviar took it all in her stride.
Supervising Animal Health Officer at the airport's Animal Reception Centre Ross Hayes said the mare passed through border security without breaking a sweat.
"She wore the suit on arrival but the vet had to take it off so she could verify the markings in association with Black Caviar’s passport," Mr Hayes said.
"She travelled very well, she wasn’t sweating or anything, she was really calm when we unloaded her, really calm."
The unbeaten sprinter is in the United Kingdom to try to push her winning streak to 22 races in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 23.
She was last night being chauffeured to her new lodgings at the historic Abington House stables in Newmarket.
Abington, currently owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa, was formerly the property of legendary trainer Geoff Wragg.
Speaking from the stables last night Abington trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam said there was a huge buzz surrounding the mare’s arrival at the home of English racing.
For the Melbourne ex-pat, who is the daughter of former Australian Liberal leader Andrew Peacock, the presence of the horse touted as the next Phar Lap was a particularly proud moment.
The mare’s neighbours in the 1889-built stables will be Australian Ortensia and Joy and Fun from Hong Kong.
"It’s a thrill for anyone who’s involved in horses," Ms Chapple-Hyam said.
"She’s done a remarkable record 21 wins and I think the British crowd will be privileged to see her run at Ascot."
Past Australian Ascot winners Choisir, Miss Andretti, Takeover Target and Scenic Blast all underwent training at Abington.
Security guards have been employed to watch over the stables with no one allowed in without first passing identification checks.
Back at Heathrow Mr Hayes, who was busy cleaning up after the superstar racehorse, said he planned to watch the race, but added that he would not be placing a bet.
"There’s no point having a punt now, the odds will be horrific," Mr Hayes said.
"Sometimes we get a bit of a tip off the grooms when they come through, but this one’s not going to be worth it."
International Racing Bureau spokesman Adrian Beaumont said the interest in Black Caviar was intense.
"It’s driving me mad. It’s non-stop. Every media organisation I can think of are ringing me up asking for the latest news and chances to see her and so forth," he said.
"I’ve been working with the international racing bureau representing Ascot for 30 years now and all my career I’ve never had so much interest in a horse as I’m getting with Black Caviar."

After her British foray, she will return to Australia to be prepared for the all-important Spring Carnival in Melbourne, where her legions of fans will be looking forward to welcoming "The Wonder from Down Under" back to Australian racing.
